As a female law enforcement officer, working in a field that has a masculine dominance, I wanted to personalize and feminize the law enforcement profession. With over 20 years in public safety and 15 years dedicated to law enforcement, I understand that times are tense and uncertain right now. This tension doesn't mean that we abandon the profession. We must continue to weed out bad seeds and stand on our sworn oath. I am proud to say that I am a mother, wife, daughter...and a police officer.
The badge is what I've chosen as a career, but it doesn't define me as a complete person.
My mission is to address issues plaguing our profession, educate on how to understand and combat them when necessary, and personalize the profession while bridging the gap between the community and law enforcement officers.
